Your private, 6-hour sightseeing tour begins with afternoon pickup at your central Vancouver hotel. Hop in the coach and head out of town via the famous Lions Gate Bridge. You’ll dive into majestic old-growth forest abundant with local plants and wildlife, and catch some awe-inspiring canyon views.
Your first stop is the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge. Once there, take the Treetops Adventure, a thrilling series of walkways sustainably attached to centuries-old Douglas firs, or the Cliffwalk, a suspended, glass-bottomed walkway jutting out from granite cliffs over the Capilano River. You’ll have plenty of free time here to view amazing First Nations totem poles and experience the Living Forest exhibit.
Next, head to the Grouse Mountain Skyride — North America’s largest aerial tramway — for a thrilling ride to the mountain peak, draped in thick alpine forest. From amongst the Douglas Firs, view the lovely Vancouver cityscape, the Gulf Islands and the Pacific Ocean. Take a guided walk, then enjoy some private time to view the native plants and animals, and to see authentic First Nations architecture like the híwus feasthouse.
Your Grouse admission includes access to all mountain attractions, such as live shows like a Birds in Motion demonstration. During the summer, enjoy free entry to the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife. Winter visitors will have access to the Theatre in the Sky, snowshoeing, ice skating, and sleigh rides.
Cap off your tour with an optional visit to the Capilano Fish Hatchery and the Cleveland Dam (time permitting). Then relax for the return ride to your hotel, arriving in the evening.
Note: A minimum of two people per booking are required for this private tour.
