Private Otavalo and Cuicocha Lagoon Day Tour

Enjoy a cultural adventure on the Otavalo & Cuicocha Lagoon Day Tour. In the morning, you will take a short hike on the crater of the most beautiful lake in Ecuador, Cuicocha Lagoon. Here your guide can explain all about the wild flora and ancient rituals practiced in the area. After a traditional lunch at a local restaurant, you head towards the small town of Peguche, where you can learn about handmade craft techniques still practiced by the Quichua people. Or if you prefer, you can take a short walk to the spectacular 20 m high Peguche waterfalls. Lastly, we travel to the Otavalo market where you can browse Plaza de Ponchos. It will be around 3pm so fairly quiet compared to the mad rush of the morning. Here you will be able to find a few souvenirs. The tour is limited to 3 people so can enjoy a more intimate experience with your guide. This is a private tour, so you can customize it depending on what you want to see or do.
