Visit the geothermal hot spot Krísuvík as well as the boiling mud pots and hot springs of Seltún found directly on the outskirts of Reykjavík. Soak in the views of the magnificent nature surrounding Kleifarvatn, the largest lake on the Reykjanes Peninsula. Stop by the fisherman village Grindavík on the way towards the natural phenomena that is the Blue Lagoon. The warm waters of the Blue Lagoon are rich of silica minerals and bathing in the Blue Lagoon is reputed to help people suffering from skin diseases.
