Let us take you on a trip past beautiful alpine villages deep into the heart of the Austrian Alps and present you with the spectacular view onto Austria's highest mountain (12,457 feet) and over the longest glacier in the eastern Alps.
Spend a memorable day taking in the beauty of this unique landscape. With some luck, you might be even able to watch marmots frolicking in your immediate vicinity.
After 36 numbered hairpin curves we will reach Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe at an altitude of 7,772 feet. From this spot, you have the best view of the summit of Großglockner. You may also visit the exhibition of the national park and enjoy a hearty lunch in a typical mountainside restaurant.
We will then return on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road and arrive back in Salzburg between 8 to 9 hours after tour start.
