Departing from Edinburgh, we start at Midhope Castle (Outlander’s Lallybroch) and move on to Doune Castle, also seen in Game of Thrones and Monty Python. In Fife, we explore Falkland, a stand-in for 1940s Inverness, then stop in Culross, where scenes in Cranesmuir village took place. Our last stop is Blackness Castle, the chilling Fort William in Outlander.
