Join us as we take a tour through the heart of Paris right where it all began. Views of Sainte-Chapelle, the Conciergerie, and Notre Dame Cathedral await you on Ile-de-la-Cité.
While walking along the cobbled streets of the island, you'll hear about the chapel of Sainte-Chapelle, one of Paris’ hidden gems. Originally commissioned by Louis IX to be a home for the Crown of Thorns and 1,100 stained glass windows.
From there, we’ll make our way to the Conciergerie, a prison used during the French Revolution for those awaiting the guillotine. You'll learn about famous inmates, like Marie Antoinette, while learning about how this building was used throughout the centuries.
Finally, we’ll enjoy a beautiful view of Notre Dame, France’s greatest example of Gothic architecture. Due to a fire in 2019, we will not be able to go inside the Cathedral, but your guide will lead you through the amazing history of this church.
