Get ready for an unapologetically Seattle experience. Join us for a walking tour that explores the rich history and diverse food scene of Seattle Center and Lower Queen Anne.Â
- 6 food tastings
- Unique tour combining Seattle's food and culture
- Stops at the Space Needle, Seattle Center, the Armory, and more secret food spots
Set in the heart of Seattle Center, with the Space Needle towering above, this tour brings history and flavor together in a way that’s delightfully messy but undeniably glorious. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s Seattle. This tour isn’t for the faint of heart or the overly picky – it’s for the adventurous, the curious, and the hungry for something real. We’re diving into what Seattle truly embraces: iconic flavors and the rich history of the Pacific Northwest.Â
We’ll start with a classic Seattle dog at an iconic location, then head to the Armory for a local favorite – a mouthwatering beef meat pie, highlighting local ingredients. You’ll also have the opportunity to try fresh, world-class oysters from Taylor Shellfish (don’t worry, it’s perfectly acceptable to skip this taste if oysters aren’t your thing). Next we will head to our favorite spot to sample a local cider, beer and Chef Brendan’s soft pretzel highlighting local grains. To finish up we will sample a unique PNW sweet treat. Â

Will the tour be cancelled if it rains?
No, the tour will not be cancelled. It rains often in Seattle so we keep all tours operating regardless of the weather. Fortunately, a good deal of the tour is covered.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, no. Furry friends are not recommended, as they aren’t allowed in many parts of the market. You’ll have to wait outside which defeats the purpose. Service animals are allowed.
Should I tip the guide?
Yes, gratuities are appreciated for all tours.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Eat Seattle can accommodate vegetarians but we cannot make substitutions for a vegan diet, gluten free or dairy free diet. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance of your tour if you will need vegetarian substitutions.
