Your tour will begin with your local friendly guide meeting you at the Sitting Nikola Tesla Statue by the Goat Island Parking Area. From there, you will walk through Luna Island on your way to the amazing Cave of the Winds. Here, you will descend 175 ft into the Niagara Gorge before heading out onto a series of walkways leading to the “hurricane deck” - only a few feet away from the Bridal Veil Falls. You will be so close that it will feel like you’re surrounded by tropical storm-like conditions, even when it’s calm out!
From here, you will make your way to Terrapin Point Observation Deck to witness a spectacular view of the Falls from above. You will also have the chance to see the stunning Three Sisters Islands, where you will get a unique view of the upper rapids as the water races toward the Falls.
Next you will head to the famous Maid of the Mist, where your tour will come to a close and you and your guide will part ways. Before you board, you’ll have a chance to check out the view from the Prospect Point Observation Tower, located directly above the boarding site for the Maid of the Mist boat tour. While you’re on the cruise, you’ll take in incredible views, hear the thunderous roars of the rushing waterfalls and you may get a bit wet, depending on where you stand - but don’t worry, you will be provided with a rain poncho for this boat ride.
