Head out in the morning to take advantage of the best time to take pictures in Mtskheta. Before Mtsketa, visit the monument on a small hill near the Tbilisi sea called the Chronicle of Georgia. This monument depicts the religious and historical events of Georgia. On to Mtskheta, visit the Jvari Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the architectural sample of the 6th century and enjoy the beautiful view of the city.
During the walking excursion in the city visit the 11th-century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. The cathedral is built on the site where the robe of Jesus Christ is kept. After lunch in Mtskheta, return to Tbilisi and visit the Tbilisi Ethnographic Museum in the modern part of the city and Mtatsminda Park. In the open air and on the territory of the big green strip, the ethnography museum offers real samples of traditional houses from different parts of Georgia.
