Spend your morning in a magical way: watching the sunrise and hiking in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. The day starts with an early morning pickup at your Ayers Rock Resort accommodation. Board the comfortable, wifi-equipped coach and enjoy the ride.
Arrive at Kata Tjuta in time to eat a light breakfast while you watch the sun rise over the rocky landscape. Make sure your camera is charged so you can capture the stunning views. Learn out their geological origins and the reasons they are sacred to the Anangu people. From there, start out on a guided walk through the Valley of the Winds, stopping at the Karu viewpoint. If you are looking for a challenge, continue on to the Karingana lookout for panoramic views. Alternatively, set out for a more leisurely hike through the domed rocks. Your guide is happy to ask any questions about this ancient and sacred area.
Return to your accommodations by midday, which leaves the afternoon free for other activities.
