The Industrial Revolution has already left its mark on the city and its inhabitants, with thick black smoke in the sky and a growing population. Modern crimes have now spread in the streets of the city, and a young man becomes fascinated by their intricacies. A young student, heading to the Edinburgh Medical School to try to become a doctor, all the while dreaming of writing stories: Arthur Conan Doyle 

Explore Edinburgh with our costumed, storyteller who will give you Sherlock Holmes' greatest mystery: the detective himself. 

First, retrace the steps of Arthur Conan Doyle with our tour guide and discover the places which inspired the author when he created his famous Sherlock Holmes stories. Did you know that bodies used to be dug out by students in Greyfriars Cemetery? Or that Joseph Bell, Conan Doyle’s teacher, was a doctor consulting for the Scottish police? 

After your 2h private guided tour, warm yourself in a restaurant mixing chemistry and good food. Have fun experimenting with foaming and bubbling cocktails/mocktails and food.

EDINBURGH BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. You will receive a final emailed confirmation with Meeting Instructions prior to the day.

a. We have several technical provisions in place to prevent our emails ending up in your spam folder; it is your sole responsibility to check your spam and junk folders.

b. If we don’t hear back from you, we assume that the Meeting Instructions have been well received and understood.

c. The experiences begin promptly at the starting time sent on the confirmation email. The experience and/or guide will not be able to for late-comers.

d. Contact Imagine Experiences Customer Service on the next business day to discuss rescheduling or cancellation.

2. Rebooking / Rescheduling:

a. A rebooking request must be sent no later than 24-hours after receiving your emailed confirmation, or a Rescheduling Fee equal to 35% of the current value of the experience will be charged.

b. Any "No Shows" and cancellations received within 48-hours of the experience are non-refundable and non-amendable.

3. Cancellations:

a. Sometimes we must cancel an experience for reasons beyond our control, such as the weather or mechanical breakdown. We regret that such eventualities are outside of our control, in these circumstances, Imagine Experiences is unable to reimburse travel, accommodation or any other expenses you may incur in relation to the cancelled experience.

b. We will endeavour to send out notifications of cancellations as soon as possible.

c. We run a 48-hour cancellation policy; no bookings can be cancelled or rebooked with less than 48-hours’ notice.

d. We offer a 50% refund on cancellations up to 3-days before your booking. After that our vouchers are non-refundable.
