Enjoy the best of Clear Creek’s Gold Rush rafting and the thrill of a Via Ferrata experience in one action-packed day from our Idaho Springs outpost, just 30 minutes from Denver. Paddle our 7 mile whitewater rafting stretch through class III rapids, navigating medium sized waves with a few larger drops and passing by historic Idaho Springs, including the Argo Mill and Tunnel. On our Via Ferrata course, you will use a combination of ladders, rungs, rails, cables, and bridges to to move across and up a cliff face, experiencing the thrill of climbing high above Idaho Springs and the Chicago Creek. Via Ferrata, which means “iron way” in Italian, is a method of mountaineering & rock climbing that’s been used in Europe for centuries. Our course also includes several ziplines and a controlled freefall. Guests must be in good enough physical shape to climb and traverse the course; however, our Gold Rush rafting and Via Ferrata experience is a fun summer adventure for all abilities!
