Then, we’re off to the legendary Cawdor Castle, where a curious tale involving a donkey and a prophetic dream determined its location. Wandering through the castle’s historic rooms, you’ll feel the magic of its deep-rooted history.
We’ll meet Murdo the Coo, a true local star residing at Castle Roy, and take a stroll through an ancient Scots Pine Forest to admire Scotland’s rare native trees. Afterward, enjoy lunch in the bustling town of Aviemore before heading to Cairngorms National Park for stunning views and perhaps some wildlife spotting. The day wraps up at Rothiemurchus Farm Shop, where you can sample a variety of tasty local treats!
