After meeting your guide in Hobart, travel in a comfortable climate-controlled van east to the coast, then north through the seaside towns of Orford and Swansea.
As you enter Freycinet National Park, enjoy a brief stop at the Freycinet Marine Farm, which cultivates oysters in the pristine waters nearby. Then follow your guide on a walk to the Wineglass Bay Lookout where you snap photos of the scenic landscape.
The easy uphill walk takes about 1.5 hours round-trip, and you have the option to continue down to Wineglass beach (2.5-hour round-trip walking time). At the beach, you can swim, eat lunch, and relax. If you prefer the shorter walk, your guide can show you other areas of the park like Honeymoon Bay, Sleepy Bay, and Cape Tourville Lighthouse.
After about four hours in the national park, continue your journey to Launceston, stopping at the Devils Corner Winery on the way to sample gelato, fresh oysters and other seafood, and wine (own expense).
Your tour ends with drop-off at your centrally located hotel in Launceston around 6:30pm.
