Day 01 Kuala Lumpur - Rainforest Belum Temenggur

The Belum Rainforest is a 130 million years old tropical rainforest with 3000 flowering plants, 3 species of World's largest flower Rafflesia, 10 species of horn bills, endangered Tigers, Elephants, Tapirs.

7.00-7.30am Depart for Belum, enroute visit Batu Caves. Climb 272 steps into the temple of Hindu Deity. On arrival at Belum Jetty have lunch. Check in at resort. Canoeing to look out for horn bills, monkeys. Return to resort, Freshen up, dinner watch documentary on Belum.

Day 02 Rainforest Belum - Kuala Lumpur

8.00am After breakfast boat ride to trekking spot The experienced Nature Guide will belt out facts and taboos of Belum. Look out for horn bills, flying fox, Rafflesia during trekking. At the aborigine village, watch fire making skills and blowpipe demonstration. Swim and wallow at the Rainforest Waterfalls as the cool mountain waters caress your skin. Packed lunch served. Return to resort, freshen up, depart for Kuala Lumpur arriving approx 8pm.

Belum is a virgin 130 million years old tropical rainforest tucked deep in the Malaysian Jungle. Temenggor is a man made lake home to endangered animals as in Tigers, Tapirs, Elephants, sun bears, Pythons, Gibbons ... 14000 flowering plants, 300 bird species, Rafflesia and aborigines. There are medicinal as well as poisonous plants, not forgetting the elusive aphrodisiacs

^ Swim and wallow at the Virgin Rainforest Waterfalls. Untainted mountain waters caress your skin. You will never get this opportunity.

^ Visit the aborigines - ladies shy away and men run away only to reappear with their fire making and hunting tools for a unique demonstration.

^ Look out for the world's largest flower - Rafflesia (Subject to bloom). Also horn bills in total 10 species, monkeys, flying foxes, eagles that come crashing on the crown shy canopy above.
