Our 2-hour tour starts at the Markthal, conveniently located in the city centre next to train station Blaak. From there we stroll into the streets of Rotterdam, past historic landmarks such as the St. Laurens Church, the Town Hall and the WWII memorial square. Our story covers how a humble fishermen's village along the Rotte river grew into Europe's largest and most important transport hub, how the Nazi bombing devastated the city centre in 1940, and how the resilient Rotterdammers rebuilt the city from its ashes and high into the sky.
