Your journey to Mount Buller will begin bright and early in the morning as you depart central Melbourne and head east. You will have some time to sit back and relax, taking in the wilderness scenery, before arriving at Mount Buller. You will be surrounded by scenic mountain views as we make our way up the mountain to the alpine ski area.
Once you have arrived in the mountains, the day is yours to spend however you may choose. There are over 300 hectares to explore and enjoy the snow-covered mountaintop. If you are planning to ski or snowboard, you can hire equipment ahead of time or upon arrival. Then, you will have 25 different lifts to enjoy as you hit the slopes, ranging from beginner to double black diamond.
There are plenty of activities on Mount Buller for non-skiers as well. You can enjoy a thrilling toboggan ride, build a snowman, or stroll through the charming alpine village and visit the quaint shops. When you need a break from the cold, visit one of the cosy restaurants or cafes for a tea or a bite to eat.
All clothing and equipment are available to hire on the day of travel, or you can hire your gear ahead of time for a discount. After an active day on the mountain, we will head back to Melbourne.
