Train leaves Ella station at 9.24 am and reaches Kandy station by 3.45 pm. Travelers are free to get down at different stations on the way if they wish to do so (Nuwaraeliya, Hatton, Peradeniya etc). All the seats are provided from 2nd Class reserved compartments. Seat number is printed on the ticket and it's very easy to find the seat.
