Ella is a peaceful small village in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. The altitude of the area ranges from 1000m to 1100m, so there are lots of things to do in Ella. It is situated in the middle of stupendous beauty in the countryside with small vegetable plots in the valleys, green tea plantations on the hill slopes, and incredible peaks to hike. Take the train from the coast, or from Kandy to Badulla and fall in love with the surroundings. Therefore, Ella is one of the best places to visit if one wants to refresh the brain and feel with the rich biodiversity that the island provides.
Ella round tour, famous for Ella Rock, Little Adam’s Peak, Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, Ravana Cave and beautiful waterfall with enjoying the hidden wonders of the Ella mount range. Climb to the top of a mountain, walk beautiful tea plantation and trail track with enjoying views of vegetable plots in the valleys and rice fields. The total walking distance is around 16 km.
