We booked kind of last minute since had an evening with no real plans. So glad we did! Lafayette was a hoot who kept us engaged but also shared a lot of information. So interesting being under the streets of Edinburgh. good tour!
Get rid of the props!
Our guide gave some interesting history about the underground tunnels and life in the Middle Ages in Edinburgh. I think it would be better without the props and theatrics in the underground. It cheapened the whole experience. I didn't not like that the guide recruited a random boy to spit on the heart on the sidewalk. That was gross and did not add to the story. I think this has the makings for a really good tour without all the hokey stuff and less theatrics.
