Photo Tours Edinburgh is a walking photography tour that will help you capture the best of Edinburgh.

The Highlights Tour is designed as a practical photography workshop. We’ll show you some great photo locations, share interesting stories of Edinburgh’s history, technical advice, composition rules and how to get the best from your camera.

This is a fun, practical tour without all the technical jargon.

The walking tour takes you up to Calton hill, where you will see some magnificent monuments but also some stunning views of Edinburgh City, the Firth of Forth and Salisbury Crags.

From there we meander up the Royal Mile to Edinburgh Castle.

The myriad of lane ways off the Royal Mile which we explore, make this a Street Photographers dream location.

At the Castle, we wander down The Mound into Princes St Gardens and conclude the tour at Edinburgh Waverley.

Your Guide, Bella McRae is a professional Photographer with almost 20 years years experience. An Australian born Scot, Bella moved to Edinburgh 2 years ago to further develop her photographic art.

Bella has achieved international recognition for her portrait work and prior to her move to Scotland was a judge for local camera clubs.

Tours are limited to a maximum of 6 people but will run with just one booking. With keeping our numbers limited, we ensure that you get personal one on one attention from Bella, with advice, tailored to your needs. This makes our tours suitable for photographers of all levels.
