Orla was so nice, fun and informative. I definitely would recommend this tour, especially if you live cheese!
Cheese tour
Good variety of nice tasting cheeses and a delicious wine. Enjoyed visiting the cheese shops and having a little time to look around in the shops and make a purchase. Our guide had good information, but it was challenging to hear due to the street noise and lack of space for us to gather comfortably. Standing on the street and tasting the cheeses did not make for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
I'd give this one a miss.
The route was good, the cheese was good, the information was good, the guide spoke well and was interesting. Standing outdoors to watch her slice and organize the cheeses while she stood and balanced her cutting board in one hand was odd and unexpected. She wiped the knife with her bare fingers when she began. She also didn't seem to put any effort into her personal appearance.
Fun cheese tour
A really fun thing to do in Edinburgh - especially as a little break from all the fringe activities. Nice small group, very helpful and interesting guide and most importantly - some gorgeous cheeses to sample.
