East Zion Pine Grove Horseback Ride

This is a 1 hour horseback ride through the forest East of Zion National Park. On this ride you will be taught the basic skills of riding a horse, followed by a simple hour long trail ride. This is a perfect activity for timid and first time horseback riders! The trail has very little elevation change and lacks he view of other ride options. Check out our 1.5 hour, and 2 hour trail rides for more technical and scenic horseback tours.

In fall and winter months, be prepared for cold weather! Make sure you bring hats, gloves, coats, etc. to keep you warm while you enjoy the tour.

The land here at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort has been family owned and operated for nearly 60 years. For years horses, cows, chickens, and the entire barnyard have called this place home and lived the ranch life. On our trail rides you get to experience a piece of our history, and a piece of that life.
