We will take you to the highest peak accessible by car: Pico do Areeiro, with its panoramic views. On the way down to Ribeiro Frio, we will pass by the Worlds Patrimony Forest considered by the UNESCO: Laurissilva.
By lunchtime we will be stopping in Santana, known by its typical thatched triangular houses. Finally, in the afternoon we will visit the place where the settlers sat foot for the first time in Madeira: Machico.

Pico Ruivo is the highest point in Madeira, this walk will take you through from Pico Arieiro (third highest point) to Pico Ruivo. Expect spectacular scenery, breathtaking moments and amazing rock formations. This is a hike not to be missed.
