You will enjoy a scrumptious picnic lunch on the spectacular Gold Rock Beach. We will also visit the home of a lovely Bahamian lady and sip a cup of our local Bahamian Bush Tea sitting in her garden where you will learn all about the healing properties of our Bush Medicine. We Bahamians believe in healing ourselves naturally from our local trees and shrubs. In addition, you will visit several native settlements, each with its own unique sites and cultural experiences. Visit High Rock, home of the famous Lighthouse Chapel and time permitting take a walk on their beautiful beach. Optional stop is the Garden of the Groves before heading to the East End and the Lucayan National Park and Gold Rock Beach. This private day trip can be customized to suit your needs and interests.
