E-Bike tour on the hills of Bologna

This tour is a real fun and eco-friendly adventure on the hills of Bologna. In just a few minutes you will find yourselves not only out of the city but in a whole different reality!

Once in Porta Castiglione we’ll start pedaling up-hill, across different parks like Giardini Margherita, Parco di Villa Ghigi and Parco Cavaioni. From this height, among vineyards, olive trees and woods, you will admire the beautiful view of Bologna’s hills.

The most trained and experienced of you can, at this point, take a challenging dirt road that crosses Talon Park and its famous sluice, Chiusa di Casalecchio di Reno, or choose the easier way back through Via di Casaglia. At the end of the tour, if you'll still have some time left you can ride up to the Sanctuary of San Luca, set on the Guardia hill.

From this height, among vineyards, olive trees and woods, you will admire the beautiful view of Bologna’s hills, with the city and the Padania plain on the north side and the Reno’s valley on the western side. Here, upon request, it’s possible to organize a refreshment stop before continuing your ride towards the Shrine of San Luca
