Why take this tour?

Wherever you are in the Zulu Kingdom you are no more than 3 hours from Africa’s iconic Big 5. Today, however, you shall be a whole lot closer. We’re hitting the road at 05h00. As you know wildlife, especially predators, are most active around dawn and dusk. This tour is for the daring souls. Enter into KZN’s Premier Private Game Reserve and meet your armed ranger who knows the reserve like the back of his hand. Listen to a briefing on walking safari etiquette before you start your 2-3 hour walking safari. Your walking safari focuses on smaller flora and fauna while you connect intimately with the environment. This reserve only permits travellers staying at their luxury lodges to traverse the park, unless you’re with us of course. After a picnic lunch you will jump into an authentic open safari 4x4 and embark on a 4 hour game drive as we track down Africa’s Big 5. Keep those Zeiss binoculars and safari guide books on hand. At approximately 16h00 we will depart Hluhluwe for Durban.
