Dubrovnik to Kravice Waterfalls, Mostar and Pocitelj Day Trip

Average tour, with a few issues along the way. We had paid extra for the smaller group tour but what arrived was a large tour. The provider does not assign seats, so other groups boarding the bus earlier took all the window seats leaving us sitting apart and beside strangers. At the border crossing our guide Boris misunderstood how EU citizenship works and sent us for face scanning while other EU citizens remained on the bus. Things deteriorated after a fellow passenger became ill on the trip and rather than prioritising getting him help, he proceeded to collect the fees and taxes for our waterfall stop, including from the partner of the passenger having the medical emergency, seemingly oblivious to her trauma. The guiding of the tour lacked a cohesive story. There was a long section of selling a restaurant in Mostar for lunch. I felt that points of interest on the way into and out of Mostar should have been highlighted. The itinerary was good and the destinations fantastic. Recommend visiting these places, just choose a different provider, or drive there yourself.

Very well run and organised trip by Boris and Vlad was a great driver. The water falls were lovely and definitely worth a picturesque dip. Mostar was nice but very busy. Also thought there would be more to see in Mostar. The war photos museum is worth a visit to understand more about Mostar and the Bosnian War. We were lucky with the border crossings between Croatia and Bosnia and vice versa but be prepared for a long wait

My fiance and I had a wonderful day trip to Bosnia via the small group tour option. Overall, the day trip to Bosnia was great and I loved our guide Robert. I found him to be extremely funny and entertaining. He gave great insight to the confusing (as an uneducated western) dynamics between locals given the recent history between Croatia, Bosnia, and Yugoslavia. After about an hour, our first stop was in Ston with the beautiful salt wall. We grabbed coffee and walked a small portion of the wall. Next stop was at the border checkpoints for both Croatia and Bosnia. Border crossing only took ~10 min max for both. I highly recommend spending the extra money on the smaller group tours as the Croatian (any EU checkpoint) requires every person to scan their face at the border. Once in Bosnia, we stopped at the Kravica waterfalls. Not many people were in the water swimming. My fiance and I did and it was fairly cold but refreshing. Next stop was Mostar. We visited the famous bridge, visited the mosque closest to the bridge (has a nice viewpoint of the bridge from the top of the minaret), saw someone dive from the main bridge, saw the crooked side bridge, got gelato and visited the war photo museum. We reached Počitelj next. Lots of fresh fruit for sell at stands. We walked up to the main tower that overlooks the city and it had beautiful views of the surrounding valley as well. Final stop was at the Deak Wines Rest Stop that overlooks a nice sea and mountain scenery. Had a nice chat with some of the other travelers here.

It was a good day visiting Kravice waterfalls and then the towns of Pociltej and Mostar.. The tour guide was very informative and explained the significance of each town. Be prepared for a long day most of which is spent on the bus traveling from one place to another. Another thing to be aware of is the customs check any time you leave Croatia and then upon entering Bosnia… Once you have entered Croatia via an airport , I don’t see a reason for these customs check which could take a lot of time? Overall a good experience

We travelled to the waterfalls , nevan the tour guide was the best tour guide had on any excursion , very patient very knowledgeable the history he has gave us has opened our eyes a lot to Croatia and it’s history , the tour in itself was beautiful the scenery in every place we stopped was just breathtaking , the only fault I have is a little longer at the falls would have been good but other than that one of the best days with the kindest guide , thank you .
