Dublin to Cliffs of Moher Private Luxury Day Tour

We had a great trip with Taufeeq. Before the trip, he clearly communicated what time he would arrive at our hotel in Mercedes Benz. As we navigated out of Dublin, he gave us a run down of the day including the driving times across to go west across Ireland. He was very knowledgeable about Ireland including its complex history and the ways of life in rural Ireland. He has clearly done a lot of research on Ireland because he was able to answer most of our questions with ease and engaged in our dialogue on the topic. The private ride was perfect for my wife and father-in-law as we rode in style and were able to get in-and-out of the car quickly for stops and pictures. The Cliffs were amazing to see and Taufeeq gave us guidance on the best way to view the cliffs (go to the right). Next, we went to grab lunch in Liscannor at Vaughan’s Anchor Inn. The food was outstanding and probably some of the freshest seafood we’ve had. I recommend the scampi - never had anything like it. It was a long day, but worth it for the personalized tour and ride across the country to see beautiful Ireland. I would highly recommend this tour.

I’ll breakdown the overall experience. Pro’s: guide was prompt and communicated well with us. This was appreciated. Guide was knowledgeable about the area and provided lots of insight on the way there. The final stop which was suppose to be quick but ended up being longer ended was the only really enjoyable part. We explored the castle and had a great lunch at the creamery. Neutral: the weather was terrible. For the amount of the money spent we didn’t see the cliffs at all. It was so foggy (no one’s fault) but if I would have known I would have cancelled or planned for a different day. The chocolate factory was nice but super small and very pricey. Chocolate was good but not sure it’s worth the value. It’s pretty much a small boutique store. Probably would have skipped it. Negative: the lunch options weren’t really options. On our way to lunch we expressed we weren’t seafood fans and nor was our child. The only option the driver gave us at first was a very upscale seafood place. While he claimed there were non-seafood options there wasn’t. (We went inside and even looked the menu. The only item was an expensive steak - not what we wanted for lunch and a 2.5 hr drive back). Our driver seemed annoyed that we didn’t care for the option. This resulted in few more debates about the menu and finally resulting in us waiting another hour till we got to the castle and had a much better lunch option. Thankfully we did wait - this was an amazing place and much better option. Overall a little flexibility (being able to pivot when things come up) would have been great. Our trip home was in silence. Maybe if the weather would have been better I would feel differently - but overall I wouldn’t recommend the trip for the cost.

Very nice and relaxing trip. Picked up at hotel and dropped off when tour was over in a new Mercedes sedan. Tour guide was great and very knowledgeable about Irish history. I would definitely recommend this tour as a luxury private tour. You get more out of a tour when it is private.

The Cliffs of Moher were breathtaking, but honestly, the journey there — with all the thoughtful stops, great conversation, and Taufeeq’s attention to detail — made the entire day unforgettable.
