MoLI is one of Dublin’s newest museums, featuring three floors of interactive exhibitions, ranging from original short-films to immersive soundscapes. View priceless heritage artefacts on display to the public for the first time. With revolving exhibitions across the year, every visit to MoLI tells a different story, with expert tour guides on hand to bring visitors on an unforgettable journey through Irish cultural history. Relax amid the museum's Reader's garden, a hidden oasis in the heart of Dublin city and enjoy some lovely food at the museum cafe. Museum is open 7 days a week, from 10:30am-5:30pm. Last entry at 4:30pm.

Heaven for Lovers of Literature

I spent a weekend in Dublin, and buying my ticket to MoLI was the only activity I planned in advance--I was so excited to go! There is so much to say about this small and beautiful museum, but most striking is how strongly the Irish value language and literature. I learned about different Irish authors and found the multimedia presentation of the museum to be really impressive. Two highlights for me were speaking with a docent who welcomed me to the museum--I felt so happy to be there, and he shared with me some wonderful stories (like Seamus Heaney's widow being a regular visitor of the museum). The other highlight was lunch in the gorgeous cafe. Visiting MoLI was the best part of my weekend in Dublin. What a treasure!

Excellent experience!

We loved MoLi! It is such a clean, well-designed, enjoyable space to visit. The way the museum incorporates artwork into the space and invites visitors to take in not just the texts but the authors' various artifacts is excellent. I fully recommend this place if you are a reader or just want to dive a little deeper into Irish literature.

Great experience at the Museum of Literature

I didn't expect to be moved as much as I was by the content of the museum. I appreciated the focus on humanity especially in an age of content being created by computers. The "help me write" button just below this space stands out to me as I write this. Worth the price of admission.

A gift to yourself, a day of Irish Authors

What a beautiful day with my daughter from the coffee shop right through the exhibition. The whole building has such a warmth and the history and authors was so meaningful I would definitely go again and recommend. I had never been before
