Dublin Jewellery Forge your own silver Claddagh Ring Workshop

Full description

You will learn the basics of goldsmithing, this includes marking with a scribe and pierce your strip of silver with a jewelers saw. Learn how to form a ring using pliers and a ring mandrel. You will watch it being soldered whilst being explained the process by your teacher. How to file the ring using different size hand files and how to texture the ring using a planishing hammer- if you wish. You will watch it being polished on a polishing motor to your chosen finish – matt or shiny!

  • Our Studio space is small and we cannot offer luggage storage.

A wonderful experience

Amazing Claddagh Ring Experience

Six of us made silver claddagh rings on the last day of our Ireland tour. We had so much fun and our rings are just beautiful!! Our silversmiths were patient and wonderful to work with. What a meaningful experience to end our trip. Anyone can buy a ring but we created a special memory full of laughs and pictures to go along with it. We highly recommend Silver Works!

So much fun! I booked this adventure for my sister and I as our Dad was 100% Irish and what better way to celebrate our heritage than by making “Sister” Claddagh Rings? Did not disappoint! We had SOO much fun. The ladies running the class were super helpful and supportive during the process.
