- Christ Church is a working cathedral and a sacred space. No eating or drinking, or the wearing of baseball caps or any type of hat is permitted inside the cathedral.
- As a working cathedral, in exceptional circumstances, Christ Church will sometimes close at short notice. Please check the cathedral website and social media for updates. In these instances, visitor tickets will be honored the next day or a full refund offered.
- Last admission is 45 minutes before closing. Our opening hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays work around services times. Please see our website for more information on service times.

Great cathedral tour.
Amazing place. Historical. Great to walk around and learn some of the local history.
Peaceful and interesting
We really enjoyed our visit. The audio tour was interesting and helpful. A few more languages to choose from would be nice, though. The staff were very friendly, and it was also nice that the student price applies to international students as well. We were even lucky enough that an organ player and choir were practicing at the same time. We recommend visiting and taking your time for it!
Christ Church
We enjoyed walking around Christ Church and learning about its history. The organ and bells were amazing.
My first experience with a Gaelic speaker in the backdrop of this cathedral was truly unforgettable.
Recently visited the cathedral and felt like a celebrity with the way I was treated by Anya. She showed me all the hidden gems and even shared some words of knowledge in Gaelic, my first time meeting an Irish speaker and as my ancestors were Irish, this made me feel closer to my past. She was kind, helpful and made me feel really appreciated. My expectations were exceeded, it was really great to meet you. Gur rav meela, I can't remember how to spell it, but she said that didn't matter and it was the thought that counts. Will bring my parents here when they visit. 10/10, couldn't be happier.
Rich in history and treasure
A cathedral rich in history from strongbow to a stolen heart but the real gem in down in the crypt where the treasures are on display. One of the copies of the Magna Carta being one of them. Well worth a visit.
