Summary

Depart your central Abu Dhabi hotel by air-conditioned coach and journey through the desert to Dubai. After roughly 90 minutes, arrive and head to Dubai's palm-tree-shaped island of Palm Jumeirah. Take in the island’s huge Atlantis hotel before traveling to Jumeirah Beach for stunning views of the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab hotel. Then, stop to marvel at the Burj Khalifa, the world’s highest tower at 2,716 feet (828 meters), before visiting Dubai Mall, the vast shopping center set below it. Enjoy free time for shopping and lunch (own expense) here before exploring Dubai Museum and crossing Dubai Creek on a public abra (wooden boat) to delve into Deira’s souks. Get bartering tips from your guide at the Gold Souk and wander through the Spice Souk, passing stalls piled with spices, herbs, sweets, and nuts. Your day concludes with a drop-off at your Abu Dhabi hotel.
