Great tour! Highly recommend!
The best tour we did in Porto! Pedro Costa, our guide was incredibly entertaining and very funny, with a great playlist that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We had such a fantastic time. A brilliant way to see the Douro Valley — highly recommend!
Highlight of our trip!
One of our best tours! Great guide in Henk and Paulo S (our driver). Excellent port tasting, beautiful lunch and nice little bonus stop in Amarente. Definitely recommend!!!
Good journey by bus to...
Good journey by bus to the boat. Some great scenery on route. Boat cruise was beautiful down the Douro, very good audio. We liked the welcome drink as we started the cruise. The lunch served was very enjoyable, plenty of food and drink, service was good. The only thing we were disappointed with was the rep who met us at the railway station who hardly had any interaction with us on the bus or the boat.

Disappointing.
Very disappointing. We got picked up in Porto and our person loaded us onto the bus. The only thing she said was it was going to be about an hour and a half. We got to the drop off point and she left the bus without any instructions. Each guest eventually found her, but we were in the wrong line and had to go to the back of the queue. We got on board the boat and nothing was communicated to us except the table that we were to sit at. Around noon the lunch service began. Plenty of food and wine including port. Food was good including the desert. The servers hardly smiled…. Made me think they did not enjoy their job. I was disappointed that there was really no history of the Duoro River given… there were a few recorded statements regarding probably a half dozen points of interest. Other than that, no one asked us how things were or if we had any questions. This was basically a bus trip followed by a six hour boat ride with a meal….. not really what we were looking for considering other Viator sponsored Portugal adventures.
