Dobruja in 2 countries - Romania and Bulgaria - Places and Birds 7d6n - PRIVATE

From October 25 to February 28 we are looking in particular geese, raptors and small birds in beautiful places, along and across Dobruja. In March we focus very much on spring migration of birds and that we can see in Dobruja only in migration, particularly along the Black Sea shore. A proposal for the program looks like: Day 1 - We meet in Tulcea and we accommodate in a good hotel of 3*. In the evening we keep a technical meeting and discuss next day's program. Day 2 - At 6:00 am, after a coffee and a good breakfast, depart for Northern Dobruja, Macin Mountains. Climb (lite hiking) the most spectacular area of Macin Mountains, admiring the beautiful countryside and birds that find their winter site here. Winter in Macin Mountains can provide an unique experience. Then go to other areas in Macin and show you the beauty of places and fauna. We do not offer a very detailed route because we want to take you through "pathless" palces and want to remain like this :-). Since the days are short and nights long, we use the maximum period of light to visit as many places as we can. In the evening, after sunset, we have enough time to move to the location of the accommodation that evening. Lunch we have packed and in the evening we return to the hotel where we draw conclusions on what we saw that day and eat a good dinner. Day 3 - We leave again (like every day) to 6:00 am, for Histria and Enisala fortresses. On the way we stop in places that we know for good spots for birds, especially Geese. Lunch we have again packed, in the evening we sleep in Constanta. Day 4 - Today we go to see a very special places, Dobruja Gorges. We have much to tell you about these places we have much to show you and (especially) we stop in some places where we'll see birds. At night we sleep in Mangalia. Day 5 - Early in the morning we go to Bulgaria, to the Black Sea shore, we want to show you Shags (we know some really good spots) and other birds wintering on the seashore. We go to see Cape Kaliakra and sleep in Varna. in the evening we'll visit also Varna City, it's worth. Day 6 - Today we go around Varna lake, looking for birds and beautiful places then we head to Dobrich where we see other interesting places and sleep also in Dobrich. Day 7 - After breakfast we go to Romania. Around 9:00 to 10:00 and we are in Constanta and 12:00 to 1:00 we are back in Tulcea. Accommodation - We accommodate you in 3*** facilities, in double rooms. We collaborate with the best hotels in places that we go through and we know exactly where to accommodate to be in compliance with our program. Breakfast and dinners are in the restaurant and we will take packed lunch.
