Your tour begins with pickup by your guide at your hotel in Delhi.
Start in New Delhi where you travel in an air-conditioned private vehicle to see monuments including the World Heritage-listed Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar—considered one of the most perfect towers in the Persian world—and the 1,500-year-old Iron Pillar. Continue by driving through the Embassy area to see government buildings from the early 20th century, Connaught Place, and India Gate.
Afterward, go into Old Delhi to view the Red Fort (Lal Qila), which sits 108 feet (33 meters) above the bustling streets Old Delhi.
Begin your rickshaw ride of Old Delhi in the early evening, taking in parts of Old Delhi that come alive when locals visit the spice market, street vendors, and small shops at the end of the day. Stroll the narrow backstreets to see historical buildings, taste delicious street food and local specialties, and walk through areas that visitors rarely experience.
At the end of your tour, your guide drops you back off at your hotel in Delhi.
