Why take this tour?

Immerse yourself in the story of Caminito and tango as you get to know the legends that have made this musical genre world-renowned. Your special tango audio walk begins in front of one of the most ancient buildings in the area, the National Wax Museum, where your narrator, a personal friend of Carlos Gardel, begins the story. You will pass by the Pearl Bar, which dates from 1882. This small restaurant brings memories to your narrator, who explains to you how the tango begins. You will reach the Plazoleta de los Suspiros, where you will hear more of Gardel's anecdotes. As you walk the "Caminito," your narrator will add commentaries on the special characters of the genre, and you will learn about the tango song of "Caminito" that gave the name to this popular touristy place in Buenos Aires.
