Dinner at the Coffee Farm

Explore coffee and food with us: 5:00PM-7:30PM.  We travel  to the outskirts of the town of Santa Fe, where we will find a 5 ha coffee plantation we manage on the hills overlooking Santa Fe.  We will take a short half-hour guided walk around the farm, providing a hands on and informal look into rural farming. We will see coffee plants as well as other plants and fruit growing on the farm.  Shortly after 6PM, we will serve a family style dinner in an outdoor rancho.  The multi-course meal will highlight locally grown and fresh ingredients.  Vegetarians, please let us know ahead of time, so we plan enough meatless dishes. Our menu changes to highlight seasonal vegetables and fruits. The following is a SAMPLE menu, to provide an idea of the type of food expected: Local Artisan Cheese with Fresh Bread Squash and Potato Soup Green Salad with Homemade Citrus Vinagrette Pasta Pomodoro(vegetarian) with local cheese / Grilled Chicken with Carrots Homemade Chocolate Truffles & Assortment of Fruit Lemongrass Tea or Citrus Juice Blend Babies are welcome (ages 0 & 1) for a reduced price, but a separate dinner is not included in this price. If you wish for your small toddler to eat a full dinner, please book them as a child rather than an infant.  Wine is available for a $5 surcharge/person. We arrive back at the inn at 7:30. We are happy to provide complimentary pick up and drop offs from Santa Fe town lodging. For lodging outside of Santa Fe town- we can help arrange a taxi for you, but you will be responsible for paying for it. We live in a rainforest and rain is common. It does not cancel this tour.
