Dingle Peninsula Day Tour from Killarney: Including The Wild Altanic Way

Kick off your tour of the Dingle Peninsula at Killarney Paddywagon office, located on 13 Main Street in the town center. From here, you’ll board a vehicle destined for some of Ireland’s most spectacular coastal sights.

Following a roughly 45-minute drive, you’ll arrive at Inch Beach, a several-mile stretch ravaged by the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Recognize spots featured in famous films such as Far and Away and Ryan’s Daughter, and, if you’re feeling particularly brave, dip your toes into the chilly sea.

Then, you’ll travel along the Slea Head Drive, a coastal route considered one of Ireland’s and Europe’s most scenic. Stop to absorb views of the Blasket Islands before arriving at your final stop, the town of Dingle.

In this quaint yet cosmopolitan fishing village, you’ll have time to enjoy a pint of Guinness (own expense) and wander elevated streets surrounded by greenery.

Your tour concludes back at your original departure point in Killarney.

You will also stop in Dingle town. This is one of the most picturesque fishing towns in Ireland, and is also famed for Fungi the dolphin who has been a local for almost 30 years. Dingle town is the heart and soul of the Peninsula. Today is attracts visitors, including artists and musicians, from all over the world.
