Summary

Waterfall Dettifoss, Selfoss and Hafragilsfoss with a local guide. Wisit these tree incredible waterfalls, snowshoe along the canyon Jökulárgljúfur and head of the beaten track on a modified Super Jeep. It’s possible to visit Dettifoss waterfall from either the east or the west side and both options are differently spectacular, which side visit will depend on the season and road conditions. This tour is operated on one of our Super jeeps that gives us an option of visiting sights of the beaten track on our way to the sights of these waterfalls. Itinerary: The tour starts from Lake Mývatn area, heading towards theese tree incredible waterfalls, Dettifoss, Selfoss and Hafragilsfos the Longest hike on the tour is at our main stop at Waterfall Dettifoss and Selfoss, aprox 2,5km. During mids of winter we will use snowshoes to make the walk easier. From There there is a short offroad/snow Drive towards Hafragilsfoss waterfall where an incredible view over the glacier river canyon along with the view over waterfall Hafragilsfoss can be seen. The gour is guided in small groups by local guides from the area to insure an informative, safe and fun day for you and your travel companions
