With the action of the two rivers Korana and Slunjčica there was created the area where the picturesque village of Rastoke was built. What Rastoke makes famous are the numerous mills used for grinding grain from nearby villages and beautiful houses built in the traditional style. Every season tells another story and gives a different look to Rastoke. Although heavily affected by the war in the 1990s, with the help of government, Rastoke have been successfully restored and are continuing to develop more and more.
