Day trip to the Kegeti Faterfall and hot springs of Issyk-Ata

Summary

It takes 2 hours to drive from Bishkek to Kegeti gorge where the beautiful faterfall is. After a short walk to the waterfall we drive to Issyk-Ata gorge which is famous for its spring waters. It takes 1 hour of walking through green meadows and groves and you will see the picturesque watrefall of Issyk-Ata gorge. You can get acquainted with the history of the Soviet sanatorium in Issyk-Ata. Here are the mineral springs in which you can enjoy swimming. Mentions of sacred springs gushing from the bowels of the earth are found in the manuscripts of medieval historians and travelers along the Great Silk Road since the 7th century AD. For a long time, the mineral water outlet area has been a popular place of pilgrimage for the local population. In 1892, a resort was organized on the basis of mineral springs.
