Make your way to Edinburgh’s Royal Mile and travel by air-conditioned coach toward Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.
Take the scenic route, winding through the mountains and stopping to admire views of the sweeping glens, heather-covered moors, and glittering lakes. Arrive to Balmaha, on the shores of Loch Lomond and hop out to soak up the scenery, take a walk along the lakeside, and visit one of the lakeside villages.
After lunch (own expense), visit the historic town of Stirling, where the star attraction is the mighty Stirling Castle. Choose to tour the castle (own expense) and follow in the footsteps of royals like James V and Mary, Queen of Scots, or stroll through the castle gardens and take in views of the medieval fortress and Stirling Bridge.
Make a final stop to see the Kelpies, a gigantic equine sculpture on the banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal, before returning to Edinburgh where your tour ends back at the starting point.
