Day trip Hiking to Uluguru Mountains-Choma Waterfalls

Summary

Best way to get close to local people in the mountains, a day in Morogoro to fill while waiting for a transfer in or out of town? A hike in the Ulurgu Mountains to Choma Waterfall or all the way to Lupanga Peak (2150m above sea level) is a great way to spend the day! This is more of a walk through villages on a steep dirt trail, than it is a true “hike” through treacherous terrain.
