Day tour to Fatima and Santiago de Compostela from Lisbon

An entire day dedicated to the catholic faith.

The famous Marian Sanctuary of Fatima is without a doubt one of the most important pilgrimage centers in the world. Time to attend Mass (optional), visit the Chapel of the Apparitions where you can see the image of the Virgin Mary. We will also visit the Basilica where we can find the tombs of Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco (the last two were canonized by Pope Francis on May 2017, thus becoming the youngest saints of the Catholic Church). Time allowed for religious shopping (optional)

400 kilometers north we reach another amazing religious area where we’ll visit the sumptuous and impressive Cathedral: Santiago of Compostela, one of the most important pilgrimage places in the world. Here you will see the medieval streets packed of pilgrims who have just arrived on foot or by bicycle. Free time to visit the city’s historic district, the 11th-century Cathedral and the tomb of Apostle Santiago Zebedee (Saint James of Compostela).
