Day Tour of Picturesque Hangzhou

Summary Description

Board a coach upon pickup from the lobby of your centrally located hotel or meeting point in Hangzhou. This full-day tour covers several highlights in the capital of Zhejiang Province.

Lingyin Temple is the first stop on your guided itinerary. After a look around the immense Chinese Buddhist temple, which translates as the 'Temple of Soul’s Retreat,' board the bus for a tea plantation at Meijiawu Village in the West Lake District. Learn about local tea culture and the production of Dragon Well tea at this scenic tea plantation.

In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on West Lake, formed in ancient times from a shallow bay. Nearby, overlooking the Qiantang River, lies the Six Harmonies Pagoda (Liuhe Pagoda). This masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture is one of the best places to appreciate the river's impressive tidal bores.

Your tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.
