Day Tour Between Mangroves, Fishing & Black Sand Beach Activities + Lunch

Have you ever visited a Black Sand Beach? If not, this is your opportunity. This tour will take you to the Guatemalan Pacific Coast where Monterrico is one of the most famous beaches in the country. Take a boat ride through the 20 km-long Nature Reserve of coastal mangrove canals with avian and aquatic life. Later on, learn the artisanal fishing techniques with the locals and if lucky you'll catch some fish for the community. We will take you to a special area to plant a mangrove tree seed, you will learn and see the salt works up close and finally, you will relax by the sea while you have your lunch, enjoy the pool and watch the sunset. In the turtle egg spawning season we will take you to an animal sanctuary. There, they take care of the turtle eggs until they spawn. Each of us will adopt a small turtle and release it to the seashore so that it can continue on its way. Without a doubt, this tour full of coastal activities is something you will never forget!
