Begin your Nairobi tour with pickup from your hotel and a short drive to Nairobi National Park. Take a game drive through the park for chances to see animals like rhinos and lions without leaving the confines of the city. Then, head to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see young orphaned elephants and learn how they are being rehabilitated. Next, visit the Giraffe Centre, a nonprofit organization that teaches visitors about environmental conservation—and of course, has loads of Rothschild's giraffes.
