On a clear weather Himalayas range in the north is a great view. Walking downhill will reach Chitlang village which has nice homestay, temples and Chaityas. The trail follows to Markhu village a typical Newari village, then to Indrasarowar and drive back to Kathmandu via Pharping. The route was main ancient route with historical importance, and was gateway towards the southern plain of Nepal before the opening of Prithivi highway.
The entire hiking duration for Thankot, Chitlang - Indrasarovar Lake (Kulekhani) will be for 7 hours.
