Explore the Daintree Rainforest and embark on a cultural journey: two of the most compelling aspects of this tour, which includes round-trip transportation from Cairns, Port Douglas, or the Northern Beaches. Climb aboard the coach and relax on the way to Cooya Beach to meet a native from the Kubirri Warra aboriginal community. Walk along the beach with the Kubirri Warra clan member to learn about how to find food, medicinal herbs, and observe techniques for spear-handling, hunting, and gathering. At the end of the walk, relax on the shore and enjoy morning tea of damper and any seafood caught on your walk, as well as learning about traditional aboriginal tools. Head over to Mossman Gorge for a welcome ceremony by the local landowners and then visit the Mossman Gorge Centre to see aboriginal art and have lunch. Afternoon activities include two options: a Ngadiku walk with an Aboriginal guide learning about their culture and history or a rainforest walk with your driver-guide with informative commentary about the rainforest. End your tour with drop-off at your hotel back in the Cairns area. Please note: Tour may operate in reverse due to tides at Cooya Beach.
